FIP EC EXPO UNJ 2017 (TERM AND CONDITION DEBATE)

General Terms
  • The participants are college’s student in JABODETABEK.
  • All Registration fee include Workshop fee
  • Registration fee:
  1. Speech Contest IDR 100.000 /person;
  2. Debate IDR {180.000} / group
  • The contest is individual and group;
  • The contestant have to come in technical meeting;
  • The theme for speech and design is prepared by the committee
  • When registration, contestants have to bring:

  1. Form registration
  2. Photocopy of identity card (KTP, KTM, or Student Card).
  3. The payment proof.

  • The contestant have to do re-registration at technical meeting.
  • For payment you can pay immediately on technical meeting day or transfer by ATM:

  1. Speech contest: Please confirm to the contact person, send the picture of printed struck transfer payment and bring the printed struck on technical meeting day.
  2. Debate competition: Please confirm and send the picture of printed struck transfer payment to the contact person.

  • The latest date for full fill the registration fee is on 15/11/17
  • The score will be announced at Workshop session on 20/11/2017 along with the awarding session.
  • If the participant whom win the competition can not come to the awarding session, they have to send the representative to take the reward.
  • If the winner yet the representative can not come to the awarding session,the winner have to come to our secretarial room at 3rd floor of Daksinapati building (FIP building) to take the reward.

Technical Implementation
  • Registration is allowed until 10nd November 2017 {for debate. And 15th November 2017 for speech}
  • When technical meeting the participants take the number and show up the proof of acquittal payment;
  • The contestant have to come 30 minutes before the competition starts;
  • The contestants will called 3 times;
  • If the contestant had been called 3 times but contestant don’t attend, will be disqualified;
  • Fee registration can’t return if the participant resigns.

SPECIAL TERMS

DEBATE COMPETITION


  • Debate system is Asian Parliamentary.
  • The location of debate competition is on 7th floor of R. A. Kartini building (IDB 1),UNJ. 
  • Limitation of argument, contestant must be not out topic.
  • The motion will be informed by committee at technical meeting
  • Election the motion will be randomly 30 minutes before the competition starts;
  • Contestant must be ontime when deliver the argument;
  • Distribution of speakers will be chosen by each group:

  • 1st speaker
  1. Introducing team
  2. Giving the motion, parameter, the time line and team split
  3. Argument.
  • 2nd speaker
  1. Rebuttle the 1st speaker of negative speaker team.
  2. Argument
  • 3rd speaker
  1. Rebuttle the 1stspeaker of negative team
  2. Giving reinforcement the 1stand 2nd speaker with evidence and data
  3. Giving the conclusion for totally of arguments
  • Contestant be able to bring the note;
  • Contestant not be able to bring gadget;
  • Argument must be appropriate with motion;
  • Contains of arguments must not SARA;
  • The debate is held between two teams of three members each. These two teams will be referred to as the Affirmative and the Negative. Members of each team are assigned positions as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd speakers. For each debate, a motion is given fromus.
  • After the motion is given, teams are given thirty (30) minutes to prepare for each debate.
  • Each of the speakers will deliver a substantial speech of five (5) minutes duration and either the 1st or the 2nd speaker on both sides will deliverthe reply speeches for their teams. Reply speeches will be two (2) minutes.
  • Thus, the complete order of speaking during a debate is as follows:
  1. 1st Affirmative – 7 minutes
  2. 1st Negative – 7 minutes
  3. 2nd Affirmative – 7 minutes
  4. 2nd Negative – 7 minutes
  5. 3rd Affirmative – 7 minutes
  6. 3rd Negative – 7 minutes
  7. Negative Reply – 7 minutes
  8. Affirmative Reply – 7 minutes
  • Assessment is carried out by 4 judges;
  • The score is start from 0 and score maximum is 100

7. Production

  • Voice quality
  • There will be 15 seconds for giving PIO within 1-6 minutes (you may do it more than once within 1-6 minutes).
  • Time chriteria:
  • 1 minutes - 1 knock
  • minutes - 1 knock
  • minutes - 2 knocks
  • 7 minutes and 20 seconds - some knocks


NOTE


  • Speech and debate contestant have to wear the mark and numberof contestant;
  • Speech and debate contestant have to come to the competition areaone hour before the competition started.
  • Contestant wear a formal outfit (almamater for College Student).
  • This terms is can’t be interfered.
  • The judges’ decision should not be interfered. Parties protested againstthe judges’ decision imposed the administrative burden of Rp.1.000.000;
  • Things that are not listed above will be determined by the committee based on the conditions set;

1.  EDUCATION
a.  THW support streaming students based on their academic performance.
b.  As Malay government, THW abolish vernacular school
c.  THW allow university to decide student’s major


2.  TECHNOLOGY
a.  Assuming Artificial Intelligence (AI) which can work things out without being taught is feasible, THW ban its production
b.  THBT online search engines and technology firms should be compelled to share personal data of their users with government agencies upon demand
c.  TH supports the creation and use of Lethal Autonomous Robots


3.  WOMEN
a.  As Indonesian feminist, THW heavily criticize patriarchal value in mainstream religion.
b.    THBT UN should suspend membership of states with high rates of crime and violence against women
c.  THW create quota form women in judicial positions (including but not limited to attorney, judges, etc)
